The six larger seats are decorated with images relating to Doncaster's history and culture. The three smaller seats are decorated with scenes carved from childrens' nursery rhymes.

Part of Phase 2 of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council 'Quality Streets Project' (1997-1998).

The project is part-financed by the Eurpean Community and by the Government's Challenge Fund through the Single Regeneration Budget.
