Part of artworks used in the redevelopment of Warrington town centre. In Market Gate, on a raised circular stage, there is a circle of columns around a water feature known as the Well of Light. There are further columns in Buttermarket Street and Horsemarket Street.

The project won several awards including an Award for Planning for Urban areas and Communities in 2002 from the Royal Town Planning Institute. It did not meet with complete local approval though, probably because of the perceived costs of the scheme.

Howard Ben Tre (1949-) is an American glass sculptor who worked with Landscape Architects on this scheme.
