Location: Originally sited in Peel Square; moved to Locke Park and reopened on Oct 26th 1866. [1]

Inscription: The inscription is badly worn but the date 1859 can be made out on it.
"ERECTED / BY SUBSCRIPTION / UND***************** / *UNDAY SCHOOL
**********D UNION / 1859"

Commission: Not known.

Comment: Exceptionally badly vandalised, like several items in the Park. It was apparently in good condition c. 1980.
