On the edge of Mount Pleasant Park, facing London Road opposite Witney street. (A-Z p.98/99 5D/E)

Description:
A large, free standing, painted metal screen/ sign saying ' Mount Pleasant Park'. The sign is 184cms high and 5 metres wide, it is painted purple and yellow and combines abstact metal tracery with figurative elements.

Onsite Plaque:
This is Mount Pleasant.
Young people from Abbeydale Primary, Sharrow Junior and
Abbeydale Grange Schools have designed and made this metal
Screen working with Gillian Brent.

The Park has been updated and elements re-designed. This piece has been moved 50 metres from its original location - other artworks have been included at entrances to the Park.
