Location:
Set into the pavement of High Street, S1. (A-Z p5 3E/F)

Description:
A total of 20 plaques are set into the pavement. Each is half the size of one of a paving brick,( c. 5x5 cm). All the plaques are cast from of variety of items at Kelham Island Museum. These include fragments of cutlery, scissors, machinery and even bone scoops.

Commission:
Sheffield City Council. European Regional Development Funding.

Comment:
These are difficult to find as the Highways Department insisted that they could not be larger.
