Description:
A simple structure simplistically consisting of vertical bars attached at top and bottom to a horizontal bar. The spacing at top and bottom between vertical bars varies and the horizontal bars have opposing curves to that above or below creating an undulating form with verticals fanning out into the curved parts of the horizontal.

GB Posters Ltd. Made at the artist's studio.

Comment:
The company gave the artist considerable freedom with the design, described by the artist as a "geometric design to tie in with (surrounding) architecture and to be viewed and approached from the side". [1]
Johnson has made a number of gates in Sheffield
