Location:
Manor Recreation Ground, alongside a cycle path (the Trans Pennine Trail). This is located next to the Parkway near the Prince of Wales Road exit.

Description:
Large terracotta foot assembled from numerous pre-fired hand built bricks.

Inscriptions:
Metal plaque on the ground by this piece: Put Your Best Foot Forward / Designed and made by youngsters at Waltheof School / working with Coralie Turpin / Part of Sheffield Children's Festival 2000 / Sponsored by: / Manor and Castle Development Trust / The Millennium Commission as part of the UK Millennium Festival / Marshalls

Commission:
National Cycle Network. Working with children from neighbouring Waltheof School. [1]

Comment:
Although there is a little graffiti on the piece it has not been damaged. Two other neighbouring pieces were installed at the same time by artists Simon Kent and Amanda Wray, both also working with local schoolchildren.
