4 CITIES PROJECT: WORKING IN THE PUBLIC REALM

The Process to appoint an artist to the Arundel Gate/Hallam Square Design Team

  • At end of Seminar complete proforma in folder and return to Registration desk
  • Submit c.v.; illustrations of relevant work by you and statement of approach [no more than a single side of A4] by Friday, 14 February 1997
  • Shortlisting Panel meets Friday, 21 February 1997
  • All artists informed of Panel decision by letter sent on Monday, 24 February 1997
  • Maximum of six artists to submit concept design proposals by Thursday, 20 March 1997
  • Public Exhibition in the Workstation, Sheffield between Monday, 24 March 1997 and Saturday, 12 April 1997
  • Final Selection Panel on Tuesday, 8 April 1997
  • All six artists to be informed of the Panel decision on either the same day or the following day
  • Successful artist starts work on the project immediately on appointment
