Richardson & Ottewill - Soup Spoon and Dessert Spoon
Hand forged in two parts from solid Sterling silver, with a drilled 20mm Lapis Lazuli bead housing the thread that joins the two halves. The handle of each spoon terminates in a 14mm Lapis Lazuli bead which is riveted in position.
The aim of the design was to incorporate the elements of colour and fun into an essentially functional item using smooth, flowing, tactile forms that simply ask to be handled.
