Description: A plinth with a sloping top on which is set a map of the local area made from ceramic tiles. The sides of the plinth are made from roughly shaped stones. The map is part topographic and part pictorial with contributing artwork from local schoolchildren.
Inscription: The bottom right hand corner of the map contains four tiles with the following inscription: DENABY / WITH THANKS TO / THE YOUTH CENTRE, DENABY MAIN FORUM, / ALL SAINTS CHURCH, ST. ALBANS R.C. SCHOOL / BALBY STREET SCHOOL, DENABY MAIN PRIMARY SCHOOL, / AND ALL THE OTHER RESIDENTS OF / THE PARISH WHO CONTRIBUTED.

Commission: Part of Doncaster Environmental Arts Programme. Maps were produced for Conisbrough, Denaby and Mexborough. The Mexborough piece was not installed because of problems finding a suitable site. [1]
