Description: Circular designs in the floor of the Market Hall. They show items similar to those sold in that part of the market. Irvin was possibly also involved in the design of the metalwork and screens in the market hall.
Commission: Part of Phase 1 of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council 'Quality Streets Project' (1996-1997). The project is part-financed by the European Community and by the Government's Challenge Fund through the Single Regeneration Budget. The floor designs and colour-ways for metalwork were designed between April and September 1990, and the floors, screens and metalwork implemented between July 1992 and July 1994. [1]
