14 plaques set in the sides of the
paved pedestrian walkway leading out into the carpark of the supermarket from
the main entrance.
Each plaque shows, in relief, a slightly stylised cross-section of a vegetable
or fruit. The plaques are all 20 cm square.
Not immediately obvious, although
a shopper with head bowed down by the weight of shopping bags or trolley may
be ideally positioned to notice them. The plaques are curiously reminiscent
of woodcuts. For a good look at the plaques pour water over them, or wait
until after rain.
