Location:
On either side of the entrance door, Sheffield Royal Infirmary, Infirmary Road, Sheffield S (A-Z p.86 6D)

Description:
The two figures are about two thirds life size and in reasonably good condition. They are set into niches and surrounded by railings.

Commission:
Money for the buildings was raised by public subscription by a Doctor Browne. [1]

Comment:
These sculptures can just be seen from Safeways car park on Infirmary Road. The former hospital is now offices owned by the Norwich Union.
