Outside the Cathedral, along its Norfolk Row front. (A-Z p. 5 3E)

Description:
The railings have red glass 'lights' enclosed at the top of each vertical. They are made from painted mild steel and glass - some people say they resemble angels wings.

Commission:
Sheffield City Council as part of the Metal Heaven Project. Funding for this project came from a variety of sources: the Crafts Council; the European Community; Sheffield Hallam University; Yorkshire and Humberside Arts; Arts and Museums, Leisures Services, Sheffield; Sheffield City Council and the Foundation for sport and the arts.
