'Multiple Negative', 1994
Graves Park
wood

Location:
Graves Park. (A-Z p111 6E)

Description:
Several sections of tree trunk, charred, some concave, some convex.

Update [Feb 2001]: Some vandalism has occurred; two of the thirteen stumps have been uprooted. The wood is in good condition for its age, perhaps because of the charring of its more exposed surfaces.

Commission:
Artist's own iniative (as part of third year work as Fine Art Student at Sheffield Hallam University).

Comment:
This piece had an official opening attended by members of the Council.
