Description:
Stained glass panels in the roof above the western apse.

Commission:
Sheffield Cathedral.
Sheffield Church Burgesses paid for the whole of the lantern construction, with a small grant from English Heritage to cover the initial investigation.
The artist was selected, after competition, from a shortlist of three. Design work was completed during
the Spring of 1997, the piece was constructed during 1998, and installed in January 1999.
It was opened by the Bishop of Sheffield in March 1999.

Comment:
A colourful and popular piece.
