Tudor Square
cast iron

Location:
Surrounding the trees planted on either side of the grass oval in the middle of the square.
(A-Z p5 4F)

Description:
Marks are positioned in square frame of each grille so that they can be read or distinguished from any angle.

Commission:

Comment:
Paul Mason (1991), "...rather than "reading" from left to right, as in the western tradition, (the marks) "hang" on a frame presenting a strong visual rhythm...".
