Arundel Street and Matilda Street
stainless steel; painted steel

Location:
On new build student accomodation building at the corner of Arundel Street and Matilda Street (A-Z p5 6E)

Description:
Panels at 1st floor level on the exterior of the building. Each sheet of steel has cutouts of cutlery forming trails across its surface and around the building. The cutlery cut0uts begin in Arundel Street and grow larger towards the corner of the building. On the Matilda Street front they have been painted.

Commission:
not known

Comment:
The free-flowing lines of cutlery are slightly at odds with the decidedly right-angular building.
