Location:
Along the 31 bus route from Sheffield to Hillsborough. Some work at bus stops, some in certain buses, some in windows of businesses and houses along the route.

Description:
Five artists were involved in this temporary work, operating under the name of utk. They were Julie East, Liz Hall, Tony Kemplen, Jane Mellor and Judith Stewart. Work included text on bus-stops by Liz Hall; video and photographic installations, by Julie East and Judith Stewart,in the windows of houses on Carr Road and in a number of shops; a sound piece, by Tony Kemplen,on certain buses and in two public libraries; and casts of animal footprints, the work of Jane Mellor, at ceertain bus stops.

Commission:
Self organised project. Support and assistance from The National Lottery, Mainline, Transport executive, Sheffield Hallam University, Adesco, Graves Park farm, Wards TV, Upperthorpe and Walkley Libraries, Walkley Photographic Centre, 3M and residents of Carr Road.

Comment:
The project was comprehensively accompanied by leaflets and other information compiled by the artists. Aspects of the work have been put on the internet.
