Our current references to this work are sketchy : there may be a second sculpture, made from concrete, which is contemporary with the church. This was built in 1916, the architect was A.Y Nutt.

The church underwent a major restoration in 2001 - 2002 during which a mining memorial window, designed by Martha MAGUIRE, and a stone memorial carving by Peter COATES were commissioned.

Any assistance and further information would be gratefully received.
