|Commission: Organised by the Silkstone Heritage Stones Project, composed of local residents. Commissioned in April, completed in July and sited in September 1989.
Comment: The Silkstone Heritage Stones Project has won the Ford United Kingdom British Conservation Awards Heritage Category and the UK Conservation Project of the Year (1990), the Yorkshire Rural Community Council, Village Ventures (1990) and The Times/RIBA Award (1991)
