|Location: On the hillside of the eastern end of the Park.
Description: A large area of concrete on the hillside into which shapes cut from steel plate are set to form the skeleton of a stegosaurus-like dinosaur. The head is three dimensional and cast in iron. The steel was allowed to rust so that it matched the colour of the head.
Dimensions: Whole piece: concrete; cut metal plate, cast metal c. 10 m long
Head: cast metal 26 cms high x 120 cms long x 65 wide
Commission: Project overseen by Groundworks.
Comment: The dinosaur is a reference to the prehistoric history of the site.
Some graffiti markings are scratched in the concrete. The metal has not been touched.
