Description:
Ceramic leaves set in the rim of a stone wall supporting a circular raised flower bed.
[Comment September 2006] If the plants in this raised bed become too abundant it may be difficult to read this portion of the Riddle Trail.

Commission:
Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust. Part of the Riddle Trail.

Comment:
The artist's original brief was to create something for a bench, an acorn or some other object found in a wooded area - it was subsequently decided to set the bench in a woodland area.
The leaves' settings were carved by Matt Fairley
